What is in our tanks, and what is not
A vape is distillate or live resin plus terpenes, and in our case nothing else. Diluents are the reason so many vapes burn the throat and finish metallic: cutting agents thin the oil so it wicks more easily and costs less to fill, at the price of everything that matters. We leave them out, which makes our oil thicker and the first draw on a cold pen slower. The coil is ceramic rather than cotton so the oil heats without scorching, and the draw is inhale-activated with no button to hold.
Cartridge or disposable?
Cartridges
Cheaper per millilitre and you control the voltage, which matters because different cannabinoids want different settings. THCA needs more heat to convert than 10-OH+ does. The THC cartridge section covers the hardware.
Disposables
Nothing to charge, nothing to screw on, nothing to set. The disposable weed pens are the right choice for a first purchase or for carrying.
Live resin versus distillate
Magic Sauce cartridges use live resin, so the terpenes are the strain's own. Better flavour, higher price, and the flavour shifts between harvests.
Which cannabinoid in a pen
Onset in two to five minutes makes this the only format where you can genuinely titrate: one draw, wait, decide. 10-OH+ for a rounded evening effect, Delta-10 for daytime clarity, THCA for a traditional profile. Reserved for adults, never while driving, and best avoided if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or on prescription medication.
Getting the settings right
Voltage
2.4V to 3.0V for most, 2.8V to 3.2V for THCA which has to decarboxylate in the coil. Above that you caramelise the terpenes.
Priming
Two short pulls without inhaling before the first real draw. A dry coil hit hard is the usual cause of a burnt cartridge, and a burnt coil cannot be recovered.
Storage
Upright and cool. Undiluted oil is thick and migrates if the pen is laid flat, which starves the coil.
Why buy your vapes here
Hardware and oil sourced separately and assembled to our own spec, which is the only way to be certain there is no diluent in the tank. Every batch is tested for cannabinoids, heavy metals and residual solvents, with the certificate of analysis supplied. Resellers should price up bulk vapes.
FAQ
Is there any filler in your vapes?
No. Distillate or live resin plus terpenes. No PG, VG, MCT or vitamin E, which is why the oil is thick.
How many draws per cartridge?
150 to 200 from 1ml, roughly double from a 2ml disposable.
Why does mine taste burnt?
Voltage, almost always. Drop to 2.4V and prime with two short pulls. A burnt coil is permanent.
Cartridge or disposable for a first purchase?
Disposable, because there is nothing to configure. Move to cartridges when you want voltage control.
Can I refill a disposable?
No. The tank is sealed and the coil is rated for the volume supplied.
Which cannabinoid should I choose?
Delta-10 for daytime, 10-OH+ for the evening, THCA for a traditional profile, Magic Sauce for flavour above all.
