What you are actually buying
Genetics, and nothing else. A seed contains no cannabinoids, produces no effect and cannot be consumed for one. What distinguishes one seed from another is the cultivar it would become: its terpene profile, its cannabinoid potential, its structure and its growth characteristics. That is why seeds are priced on rarity and breeding rather than on content, and why a single seed can cost more than a gram of flower.
Important: the legal position
Seeds themselves are legal to buy and hold in most of the EU, because they contain no controlled substance. Germinating them is a different matter and is prohibited in most member states. We sell these as collectors items and for legal use only, which in practice means breeding and preservation in jurisdictions that permit it. It is your responsibility to know your own national law, and we will not advise you on how to circumvent it.
Choosing genetics
By terpene profile
The aroma a cultivar produces is the most consistent thing genetics determine. If you know a profile you like from our flowers category, that is the sensible starting point.
By cannabinoid potential
Some cultivars are bred CBD-dominant, others for other cannabinoids. Our CBD flowers come from the former.
By rarity
Rare genetics are priced accordingly, and preservation is a legitimate reason to buy them where the law allows it.
What we will and will not tell you
We will tell you the cultivar, the lineage where it is documented, and what the genetics are known for. We will not provide cultivation advice, because germination is illegal in most of the markets we ship to and we are not going to pretend otherwise. If you need that information, you are in a jurisdiction where you should be getting it from a licensed source.
Why buy seeds here
Documented lineage rather than invented names, and a clear statement of what these are sold as. Wholesale quantities are handled through bulk seeds. For anything you intend to eat, the food-grade hemp seeds are the correct product.
FAQ
Do seeds contain CBD or THC?
No. A seed contains no cannabinoids and has no effect of any kind.
Is it legal to buy them?
In most of the EU, yes, because they contain no controlled substance. Germinating them is prohibited in most member states, which is a different question.
Can you advise me on growing?
No. Germination is illegal in most of the markets we ship to, and we will not provide guidance on it.
Why are some seeds so expensive?
Rarity and breeding work. You are paying for genetics, not for content.
Can I eat them?
No. For eating, buy food-grade hemp seeds instead.
How should I store them?
Cool, dark and dry, in a sealed container. Viability degrades with heat and humidity.
